What payment methods do you accept?

Payment is due upon completion. We accept Zelle (954-505-9799, listed as Extreme Steam Inc), Venmo, check, cash, and credit or debit cards. Card payments run through the Square app and carry a 3.5% surcharge.

When do I pay, and is there a grace period?

Payment is collected once the service is complete. We allow a 20-minute grace period to settle up. If payment runs past 20 minutes, a $50 inconvenience fee applies and recurs every hour until it is paid.

What if no one will be home to pay?

If the property is empty, or the owner or person handling payment will not be present, we collect payment before starting the service.

How will I know the technician is on the way?

Accepted Answer

For estimates and scheduled services, our technician calls 15 to 30 minutes ahead to let you know he is on his way. If there is no answer or callback within 20 minutes, we have to reschedule the visit.

Is there any coverage after the service?

Yes. Every service includes 72-hour follow-up coverage for any questions or concerns after we leave.

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

For carpet or area rug cleaning, please give the area a light vacuum beforehand. For post-construction, move-in, or move-out tile and grout work, a quick pass with a broom beforehand helps.

Can each piece of my sectional be cleaned separately?

Yes, though for liability reasons our technician does not disconnect sectional pieces. If you would like each piece cleaned on its own, please separate them before he arrives.

Will you move my furniture?

Lightweight furniture is moved for you at no charge. Heavy or delicate items carry a moving fee of $15 to $40 per room.

Can you remove every stain?

We work every colored stain, food stain, spill, and oil with a 50/50 outcome: it may lift completely, lighten, or stay. Urine stains are also 50/50, depending on how long they have been sitting, how saturated the area is, and the type of fabric.

How do you handle pet accidents?

If carpet, draperies, upholstery, or mattresses have pet accidents, we inspect on site and give you a fee before treating, unless agreed otherwise.

Do you remove pet hair?

We do our best to lift as much as possible. Hair tangled deep into carpet, upholstery, mattresses, and area rugs cannot always be fully removed.

Will traffic patterns go away?

Traffic patterns come from wear and the friction of regular use. Our service deep-cleans and disinfects them, though worn patterns can still be slightly visible afterward.

Are you responsible for pre-existing damage?

Accepted Answer

We treat what we can, but we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions. On upholstery, leather, carpet, area rugs, mattresses, headboards and frames, and draperies, that includes fading, stretching over time, color variation, natural wrinkles or creases, marks or scuffs from wear, peeling or cracking from improper care, and loose or malfunctioning zippers or stitching.

What about my tile and grout?

While cleaning, we may come across missing or discolored grout. We are not responsible for pre-existing tile conditions such as broken tiles, loose tiles, missing grout, or discolored tiles.

How long does everything take to dry?

Accepted Answer

Carpet and upholstery dry in about 3 to 15 hours. The range depends on how soiled the area was, the outdoor temperature, and how efficiently your AC pulls moisture out. Keeping the room at 75 degrees helps remove humidity properly after the service.

How should I care for things while they dry?

Keep pets off cleaned carpet, upholstery, mattresses, and area rugs while everything dries, so nothing transfers. Rotate cushions and throw pillows every hour until dry. For an area rug cleaned on site, leave it flat: avoid rolling it, setting objects on it, or walking on it until it is fully dry.

What is included in mattress cleaning?

We clean the top and sides of the mattress. The underside is cleaned only on request and carries an additional fee.

We clean draperies on site. Drapery repairs are outside what we offer.

Fabric protector is quoted separately from the cleaning.

Do you handle heavily soiled or restorative jobs?

Accepted Answer

Restorative cleaning is quoted separately. Fabric that is overloaded with dirt, stains, pet feces, or biofouling falls outside standard pricing unless we state otherwise.
